The Festival of "Furusato" 2012 Venue "Aizu Wakamatsu"

A nationwide convention of traditional folk-performing arts which have long been handed down from generation to generation in Japan was held in Fukushima.
The beautiful sound of the Aizu Tsurugajo Castle Drums kicks off the convention at the Aizu Wakamatsu venue followed by the Dragon Dance performed by high school students from Kobe and Yamagata's uplifting Hanagasa-Odori Dance and the beautiful Fan Dance from South Korea were presented.
To overcome the earthquake  the festival and dance performing arts are protected by strong bonds.  We invite you to see these performances.
