[About RockCorps]
It is a global movement in which a total of 160,000 people have so far taken part, in 34 cities around the world.
It is an extremely simple, yet revolutionary initiative in which people are allowed to attend concerts
given by popular musicians by engaging in four hours of volunteer work.
Making use of the power of music, it offers a new way of calling on people to take part in activities to contribute to society.
World-famous musicians have so far taken part, including Lady Gaga, Rihana, Snoop Dogg and Maroon 5,
and the musicians themselves have been taking part in volunteer activities.
In 2014, "RockCorps supported by JT 2015" was held for the first time in Japan and Asia as a whole, in Fukushima,
based on the theme of restoring Tohoku.
The event, cosponsored by Fukushima Prefecture, was attended by famous musicians including, May J.,
flumpool, Kobukuro and Ne-Yo.

The event was attended by Nakashima Mika, Puffy, Home Made Kazoku and will.i.am.
3,504 volunteers took part in a total of 132 volunteer activities held from May to September.
Volunteer participants gathered from all over the country to enjoy the celebrations in solidarity at the concert
held at the Azuma Integrated Gymnasium in Fukushima City on September 5, 2015.
