I believe that Fukushima is a beautiful part of Japan. Coming from a foreign land, we thought that Fukushima would be a disastrous place, but it seems like any other places in Japan to me. I’ve been living here for 2 years, and I’ve enjoyed every single moment here in Koriyama, Fukushima. I believe that in a few more years, Fukushima can truly return to its normal state. The history of Aizu is rich. I was able to enjoy awesome soba and street food. I was also able to see the castle, which has a lot of history to it. There are still many people who don’t want to leave Fukushima because this is where they belong, home.
