Location: “COEX (Convention & Exhibition Center)”, Seoul, Korea

Missions and Results:

　“KIMES” is a leading exhibition for representing medical industry trends in Asia. Visitors are expected to come from all over the world, meaning that it is a perfect opportunity for Fukushima Prefecture to establish a network with firms around the world.

　Fukushima Prefecture set up our own booth at Japan Pavilion organized by JETRO (Japan External Trade Organization), and two “Monozukuri firms (regional SMEs)” from Fukushima Prefecture exhibited their technologies aiming for business expansion into the medical device industry.

　As a result, they won 37 prospective deals through 261 business meetings. * The total number of business meetings at JETRO’s Japan Pavilion: 607 We will continue promoting “Fukushima Prefecture as a medical device design and production center“ by collaborating with regional firms.
