MINAMIAIZU
AREA

The Minamiaizu region is located in the southwestern part of Fukushima Prefecture
and consists of four towns and villages: Shimogo Town, Hinoemata Village, Tadami Town, and Minamiaizu Town.
The area is roughly the same size as Kanagawa Prefecture, and about 90% of it is covered in forests.
It’s another gateway to Aizu and is accessible from Asakusa in Tokyo, Nikko, and Kinugawa Onsen (hot spring).
Nature is abundant and there are many outdoor activities available.
