Head to Tadami Town on the Tadami Line, which fully reopened in 2022! Enjoy scenery that you can't see from the train window! The sign at Tadami Station has a distinctive aesthetic.

First, we’ll head to Mitsuishi Shrine, a mystical energy spot in Tadami Town. It is said that if you tie a five yen coin to Sannoiwa rock, which is said to be the rock that brings people together, you will find love. Makes you want to take your time and do it right.

Tadami is famous for Tagokura Dam! The view from the top of the embankment is spectacular. You can also see Tadami Dam from here. The dam lake is surrounded by mountains, so you can enjoy the autumn leaves in the fall!

On your way back from Tagokura Dam, we recommend stopping by the Beech and River Museum. The permanent exhibits with themes related to beech trees and nature in Tadami Town are engrossing.

Now that I was feeling hungry, I went to try some seasoned mutton kebabs, a local B-class gourmet food of Tadami Town. The combination of tender mutton, refreshing cabbage, and dressing is exquisite! I could get addicted to these. You can also order a special dam curry.

The journey is coming to an end. We stopped off at Mitsuishi-ya on the train ride home. The most popular item, minced meat bread, often sells out, so it's best to go in the morning! The nostalgic butter cream fills your mouth.
