What is Fukushima Innovation Coast Framework?
The Fukushima Innovation Coast Framework is a national project aimed at restoring the industries in the Hamadori (coastal) region and other areas that were affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake and nuclear disaster. Its goal is to establish a new industrial foundation.
What is Fukushima Institute for Research, Education and Innovation (F-REI)?
This is a legal entity that was established by the Government of Japan as a world-class, core centre for creative reconstruction to realise the revitalization of Fukushima and other parts of the Tohoku region, and to contribute to the advancement of Japan's scientific and technological capabilities and industrial competitiveness.
The Great East Japan Earthquake and Nuclear Disaster Memorial Museum
This facility serves as a platform to convey the records, lessons learned and steps towards revitalization from the complex disaster of earthquakes, tsunamis and nuclear accidents experienced by Fukushima Prefecture, and to share those information within and outside the cuntry and to pass on to future generations.
